Ingredients | Varuna, Saireyaka, Shatavari, Chitrak, Bilwa, Brihati, Kantakari, Karanj, Shigru, Haritaki |
Directions for use | Take about half cup of this freshly prepared liquid decoction two to three times a day. |
Method for preparing the herbal decoction water | Take about half cup of this freshly prepared liquid decoction two times a day during empty stomach, preferably in early morning hours and another time in evening hours. Method for preparing the herbal decoction water- Take about two tablespoonfuls of this Herbal Decoction and mix it well with around one and half cups of water. Keep the mixture for around half an hour. Then boil this mixture on light to medium flame. Shake it well during boiling. Gradually the water will start to get evaporating. When around half cup of water remains in the mixture during boiling, take it down. Strain the liquid into a bottle or a steel utensil using a sieve or a cloth such as a jelly bag or muslin cloth. Use this freshly prepared liquid decoction two times a day. |

Advice:
* One should do fasting for first 1-2 days (Nil by mouth) during acute attack of appendix pain. The person should gradually start with liquid diet i.e. moong dal soup, pomegranate, grapes, coconut water, puffed rice, dry black grapes, luke warm water once pain and other symptoms like vomiting, nausea are subsided. One should try to avoid Milk and other dairy products during entire treatment.
** One should consume boiled water for whole the day. Take about one tablespoonful of Dry Ginger (Saunth) Powder add in about one litre of water and then boil this water mixture for 15-20 minutes. Strain the water into a bottle or a steel utensil using a sieve or a cloth such as a jelly bag or muslin cloth. Drink this water for whole day is ideal in appendix pain.
